DMX512 and RDM control
The show lighting protocol: decoders, drivers, consoles, Art-Net and pixel for stages, façades, stands and events.

What DMX512 is
DMX512 is the standard for show lighting control. A console or controller sends 512 channels down one cable, and each channel carries a value from 0 to 255: the intensity of a colour, the position of a moving head or the speed of an effect.
Each device listens from its own address. A 4-channel strip decoder at address 1 uses channels 1 to 4; the next one starts at 5. So a single cable controls a whole installation, colour by colour and run by run.
RDM adds two-way communication: from the console you can see each device, change its address and read its alerts, without climbing a ladder. Art-Net carries many DMX universes over Ethernet, and SPI pixel lets you control each LED in a strip separately.
The devices are made by Sunricher, one of the leading manufacturers of lighting control. We show them with their brand and original codes, so you can check every datasheet.
How it works
Advantages
Each channel is a colour or an effect: full dynamics.
PWM up to 35 kHz and 16-bit for recordings and live shows.
From one strip to thousands of pixels with amplifiers and Art-Net.
Works with consoles and software such as Madrix or Sunlite.
Solutions
Moving heads, strips and pixel in sync.
Changing scenes that draw attention.
Dynamic architectural lighting with pixel and Art-Net.
Function rooms with scenes for every moment.
