What Zigbee and Matter are
Zigbee is a wireless protocol designed for homes and buildings: it uses very little power and forms a mesh network in which every mains-powered device repeats the signal for the next. The more devices, the greater the range and stability.
Matter is the common standard from Apple, Google, Amazon and other manufacturers. It lets devices from different brands work together and with any voice assistant. It runs over Thread, a mesh network similar to Zigbee, or over Wi-Fi.
Our Matter devices also still speak Zigbee, so they combine seamlessly with Zigbee remotes, push buttons and sensors.
The devices are made by Sunricher, one of the leading manufacturers of lighting control. We show them with their brand and original codes, so you can check every datasheet.
